So, the other day…
… I was walking down Townsend and 3rd. Suddenly, a young lady came quickly down the side walk and took two strong steps into the street. She was attempting to hail a cab which was several lanes away. The driver, oblivious to her existence, kept driving.
“What the hell?!”, she yelled.
Once I was several feet away from her, I quietly whispered to myself:
“He can’t hear you.”
